• DISHA PESWANI-  was born and raised in Mumbai, India . While she was in school and college  in India, Disha participated in several group dances and she realized that dancing helped her relieve all the stress and made very happy. Disha moved to California in 2010 to work as a Manufacturing Engineer for a medical device industry. Before that she worked in Michigan for 2 years. In her quest to continue dancing, she came across “M.A.D Bollywood Studios”. She was highly excited and confident that Jashan 2012 is the show that she wanted to be a part of. Disha was highly impressed with Reetu Patel’s unique and creative vision for Jashan 2012. She looks upon Reetu as a dynamic business woman who is incredibly hard working, highly resourceful and professional, very committed and disciplined in her dancing. During her interaction with Reetu, Disha has learnt that consistent practice, a positive attitude, self discipline and honesty will make you a vibrant personality and will help you succeed in life wherever you go. She would like to carry forward Reetu Patel’s mantra on dancing- “Being aware, attentive and disciplined while dancing will bring out the best dancer in you”.
• Disha has an outgoing personality and a lot of patience. She takes pride in being a part of M.A.D Bollywood studios professional team. She is enthusiastic to learn different techniques of dances from her Guru, 'Reetu Patel'.  At the same time, she urges to pass on her knowledge and attitude about dance, to  her students as a  dance instructor at M.A.D studios. "Reetu is particular about visiting the class and supervising while her instructors are teaching, which helps guide the students even better and the students receive a lot of direct attention which helps them excel in their performances"- Disha.P.

SANJANA KUMAR - found her love for dance at a very young age. Sanjana has been continuing to learn dance at M.A.D BOLLYWOOD DANCE STUDIOS with artistic director 'Reetu Patel' for past 2 years and  looks forward to a great dance journey ahead. Sanjana says, "Joining M.A.D was the best decision , as she learnt to express her inner self through dance and has received various opportunities to showcase her talent and keep growing. Sanjana takes tremendous pride in being a student and instructor of M.A.D and calls it her second home. Sanjana says her students will enjoy her class just as much she enjoys being in Reetu's class, and assures to offer a comfortable and fun environment in class.

Group Classes:

 

Our group classes are limited to

- 10-12 students per class for the age group of 13+

- 8-10 students per class for 4-12 years old kids.

 

We like to keep our group classes small to ensure personal attention towards each student.

 

 

Bollywood Dance Class

 

Levels

 

Level I - is offered for beginners. This class is an introduction to the basic techniques of Bollywood Dance, and vocabulary. Along with dance students focus on correcting their posture, dancing strong, and the minor details of Bollywood Dance, like facial expressions and hand symbols.

 

- Level 1 is offered for both types of Group dance classes just for fun and JASHAN-Performance based.

 

Level II- is not just one step but a few steps above Level I. Hence we highly recommend minimum 2 quarters of intense training in Level I. Level II dance classes are complex and intensive. Students focus on building more artistry in their dancing skills. The choreographies are intermediate level with quick in between transitions. Students can graduate to Level II only on completion of Level I and with the consent of our Artistic Director.

Private lessons

 

We offer private lessons for basic- advanced dance techniques, dance competitions, and various performances. Private lessons are also highly recommended to receive one on one training with your dance instructor to work on your strengths and weaknesses and excel as a dancer.

 

Private lessons are offered for solo/duo dance performances and small groups as well.

 

 

 

Wedding Dance Lessons

First dance lessons-

 

Are you going to be a happily wedded couple soon?Each moment is special and a Bollywood First dance can make it precious. Allow us to choreograph a dance to your most favorite song. The dance together will be special and easy to follow.

 

Fees- $70.00 per hour/per couple (minimum - 4 hours)

 

 

Group lessons for sangeet and mehendi parties

 

Looking for a Bollywood style Indian Wedding. Allow us to bring color, glamour and celebration to your sangeet, mehendi and/or wedding reception party. It will be a pleasant surprise for the bride and groom to see their families perform together. This experience will also be a great bonding time for both the bride and the groom's family together.
